Apollo has a line of low loss waveguide covering X, Ku, DBS and Ka bands. This type of waveguide is ideally suited for long waveguide runs. It offers significant advantages in insertion loss and high power handling capabilities over the equivalent standard waveguide size. Each run consists of a transition from standard to overmoded waveguide on either end, a mode suppressor and straight overmoded waveguide with gentle E-bends only.
